Bill Slagle

William “Bill” Slagle, age 80, passed away December 7, 2013 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born December 10, 1932 to the late Herman and Mildred Slagle. Bill was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He retired from Ebco Manufacturing after 34 years of service and was a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid antique collector and dealer for many years. He was preceded in death by his sisters Nancy Trago and Linda Fouch and brother Jerry Slagle. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sylvia; son, Robert (Susan) Slagle; daughters Sherri (John) Stubbs and Diane (Mike) McGlinchey; grandchildren Sara (Kyle) Kearney, Kevin (Amy) Slagle, Holly Slagle, and Cariann Stubbs; great-grandchildren Bear and Brees Kearney and Lucy Slagle; extended family and friends. Family will welcome friends Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2–4 and 6– 8 pm at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where service will be Thursday at 1pm; Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt.
