Billy Lee Pond, age 56, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was born in Virginia on April 9, 1958. He was currently working at Mark Gray Enterprises. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Lee Pond; and one brother. He is survived by his girlfriend of 23 years, Becky Foley; mother, Nancy (Taylor) Richmond; daughter, Amanda Cunningham; step-son, Rickey (Donna) Moore; step-daughters, Carmon Kennard and Tina Hanes; granddaughters, Whitney (Jared) Kenyon and Taylor (Jared) Freeman; brother, Floyd Lee (Janie) Pond, Jr.; sisters, Georgia Head, Nancy Deitz, and Linda Trejo; special friends, Mark Gray, Jeff (Pat) Dheel, Terry (Trish) Baker, and James (Cassie) Rose; beloved dog, Lilly; and many other loving grandchildren, family and friends. Friends may call on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00AM at Alton Cemetery, Alton Darby Creek Rd., Galloway, Ohio. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating.
