

Bonnie Jean Martin, sunrise May 8, 1930, sunset December 31, 2020. She was born in Sutton, WV to the late Alonzo and Erma (Radcliff) Martin. Bonnie was a former member of Kingdom Hall and currently a care member of Royal King Ministries. She retired from St. Mary of the Springs after 20 years of caregiving. Bonnie Martin was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Many do not know that Bonnie was an avid NHRA fan who could be found at the US Nationals in Indy on Labor Day Weekend. Bonnie was kindhearted, a hard worker and would do anything she could to help someone out. She had a great sense of humor and laughter was always a part of her day. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, George Martin, Sr.; siblings, Bobby (Edley) Martin, Billy (May) Martin, Betty (Fox) Davis, Luella (Al) Britt; brothers-in-law, Alfonzo Davis and CW Watson; sons, Cecil Martin and Degore (Lana) Martin; daughter, Wanda Robinson; grandsons, Antonio Robinson and Lamar Turner. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Alfreda Davis, Barbara (Reamer) Bell, and Dora Watson; children, Cereda (Daniel) Rispress, George Martin, Jr., Mary Turner, Alonzo (Shelly) Martin, and Mario (Takisha) Martin; grandchildren, Carl Elder, Carreda Gore, Daniel Rispress II, Tracey Evans, Tina Rispress, Lisa Watkins, Jimmy Wilder, Dwayne Wilder, Nathan Martin, Norjuan Parks, Bobbie Brewster, Danbi Miller, Degore Martin II, Dario Martin, Tiffany Corbitt, Tamikka Simpson, Shawntay Butcher, Amaryllis Perry, Tamara Billups, Jessica Simmons, Kendra Sanders, Ken Billups, Hakeem Carr, TaMar Martin, and Imari Martin; a host of great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; goddaughters, Melanie Carter and Monica Davis; and extended family members. Family will receive friends 9 am until 10 am Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the private family funeral service will begin at 10 am. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. Masks are required and attendance will be monitored to 25 people in the room at a time to maintain social distancing requirements.
