Bonnie Elaine Short

Bonnie Elaine Short, age 75, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 9, 1945. Bonnie was a beloved homemaker and daycare provider for many children including those most special to her in the Edgewater Park neighborhood. She was a lifelong church member and devoted to her faith and Jesus Christ. Bonnie's greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Short; daughters, Tammy Betts and Tina Short; granddaughters, Shawna Parsley and Kaylee Woolum; and beloved dog, Zoey. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donald Lee (Alexandra) Short II, Teresa (Stephen) Parsley, David (Dawn) Short, Traci (Bruce) Robinson, Daniel (Heather) Short, and Tonya Woolum; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kind heart and loving soul and will never be forgotten by many. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday, December 21, 2020 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232 and 10:30-11:30 am Tuesday, December 22, 2020 until the time of service at 11:30 am. Masks are required and attendance will be monitored to 25 people in the room at a time to maintain social distancing requirements. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway.
