Brainard Joey Reid

Brainard was born May 8,1959 in Canton, Ohio to Mary Joan and Booker T. Reid.

Brainard, affectionately known as Joey, graduated from Timken High School in Canton, Ohio. He migrated to Chicago and Texas before settling in Columbus where he worked in commercial and residential plumbing. He was also adept in remodeling and home improvement.

His passion was playing drums for Rhema Christian Center's music ministry. He loved his wife's cooking, spending time with his grandchildren and vacationing with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife JoAnna J. Reid; twin sons Jedidiah and Uel Reid, step-son Gabe Hannah Johnson; grandchildren Jael, Jace and Rylen Reid, Colton and Cameron Johnson; brother Booker A. Stacy Reid, sisters Denise Egbert Brown, Andrea Lopes and Gale Robert Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, his Rhema Christian Center family, numerous friends and co..:workers and his new beloved pup Cocoa.
