Brenda Ann Barker

Brenda Ann Barker, age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Brenda was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 6, 1949 to the late David and Barbara (Clarke) Bush. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, John Barker; son Justin Barker; sisters Donna Bush and Rita Devones.

Brenda was a 1967 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. Brenda and John loved to go on cruises all over the world. She was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Gwednolyn Barker; son John David Barker; brother Douglas Ronald Bush; and many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Monday, February 16, 2026 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN, 229 E. State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Graveside Service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43223
