Careita Marie Browder

Careita M. Browder, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Careita was born on April 10, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late James and Cordia Browder. Also preceding in death was her brothers Bruce Browder and Raymond Browder; and niece Tonia Browder. Careita will be deeply missed by her brother James (Mary) Browder; nieces Julie (Leo), Jacqui, Toya, Jen, Lia, Brittany, Sarah, Charmagne, Jill and Tegan; nephews Matt and Jason; and many cousins and friends. Careita graduated from East High School. Careita loved to cook and bake and could often be found bringing her baked goods to work and to church events. She was a world traveler, an avid book lover and collector. She loved her monthly trips to the casino Careita loved her shopping, especially the shopping on the QVC channel. She had many careers in her lifetime. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN, 229 E. State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, where family will receive friends from 11:00am until time of the service. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
