Carl George Bailey, 84, died Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born December 13, 1932 in Minerva Park, OH to the late Perry Bailey and Stella (Kidner) Bailey. Carl is preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Lester, Lynn and Harold. Carl is survived by children Brian (Becky), Kathy Strawn, Deborah Brown, Barbara (Steve) Flood and Susan (Daniel) Pennell; grandchildren John, Jason, Angela, Annie, Nathan, Joshua, Casie and Michelle; 10 great grandchildren; brother Lawrence (Ann); and special loving companion, Jean Beckwith. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held Friday, March 31, 2017, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
