I was thinking of Carl just the other day and how our group would sit around chatting and listening and laughing and then Carl would break out with an evil grin and recite some poems.  Oh, my.  What an intellect.  We laughed and laughed--those really were good times and wonderful memories. Thinking of you, Pat.

I would like to extend our sympathies to your family, from the Wilson family. Carl was our insurance broker for as long as I can remember. My Father started with Carl long before I started driving in 1978 and I have been with Carl until he retired and still with State Farm. I have a lot of respect for Carl's funny honest personality. I sent a room mate to him back in 78 and he advised her that it would be cheaper for her to go with her parents insurance company. I have always remembered how honest and caring he was to all that came to him for advice. He will be truly missed!

I have known Carl for more than 50 years.  I was just a boy of 9 when we met - he was one of my step father's friends, and he in turn became one of mine.  He was a wonderful agent, and an even a better man.  Polite, caring, kind, a prince of a man with a servant's heart.  I enjoyed his sense of humor and the humility he displayed. My prayers and condolences to your family.  I have known Carl since I was a little girl he was my parents insurance agent and my father and I would always go into see him together. Then when I got old enough to drive I had him as an agent. I remember going in to tell him my dad passed away in 2008 and chatting with him about old times. And even though my parents had not been together for many years he would always ask about my mom's well being.  I worked for State Farm in his old office after he retired for another agent but with Kim who always took care of me when I would call. He was a very honest and too the point man. He would always give me fatherly advice not always what I wanted to hear. Lol He was definitely a very respected man! So sorry for your loss.

Never met Carl, talked to him several time on the phone.  Met and worked with his farther Chris on the Brake Geneology.  We share a  distant relative in a great great grandfather.  Have met Stephen on a couple of construction job.  My condolences go out to all.

I remember when I first met Carl, he was charming and witty, could not help but love him.  He was so funny when he would start with one of his colorful poems that he had created; it didn't make any difference how many times we had heard one of them it was always hilarious to hear them once again. I feel so blessed to have had Carl in my life, I feel so very blessed. Carl so loved his Florida home and always looked forward to his trips here with Patricia.  Carl you will be missed, as I said in another post, I will look for you among the stars as the brightest angel with wings spread.  I love you.
