Carmella (nee Sabatino) Thomas, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Born to the late Rocco and Mary (nee Sciarra) Sabatino. In addition to her parents, Carmella is preceded in death by her brothers, Philip and Dominic "Sab" (Mary) Sabatino. Carmella is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee (Adam) Judd; grandchildren, Christopher and Brian (Cassie) Barnett; sister, Connie; sister-in-law, Rita Sabatino; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her unending love and dedication to her family and her eternal compassion for animals. Family will receive friends from 2-5 pm Sunday, February 18, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018, at 10 am. Father Joshua Wagner officiating. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates to follow in procession.
