

Carol F. Keil (Roush), age 86, died Monday January 16, 2012 at Hoover Haus in Grove City. She was the only child of Charles and Grace (Hartline) Hood, born on July 18, 1925 in Bucyrus. She is preceded in death by her husbands, John Roush and Donald Keil. Carol is survived by her children, John (Jean) Roush and Rosemary (Richard) Neiderhauser, grandchildren, Shelly, Wyatt (Miranda), Quinten, Zachary, John III (Sheila), Ben (Natalie), Nate (Susan), Jenna (Chris), 16 great grandchildren and she also leaves behind many friends at Hoover Haus. She was active with the Girl Scouts when her daughter was a member and again when her granddaughter was a member, PTA, and active with St. John’s Lutheran Church, as a Sunday School teacher and also Circle. Carol graduated from Bucyrus High School and Bliss Business College. After graduating she worked at the A&P, Southwestern City Schools as a cook, a Sales Associate with Lazarus working on the 6th floor with the boys and girls, and finally with the Grove City Nazarene Day Care. Her family came first in her life and she has many scrapbooks to show off. She was a fan of musicals and movies, was a vegetable gardener and canner. Carol enjoyed traveling, but fell in love with Tucson, AZ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2012 from 4-7pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway. Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 19, 2012 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 3220 Columbus St. Grove City at 11 am. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery.
