Carol Stark-Oldham

Carol was born in Newark on December 1, 1942 to the late Brooke and Freida (Kneller) Walters. She passed away at Arlington Care Center on August 11, 2011.

Carol was a licensed cosmetologist and was a licensed registered nurse. Years ago, she was a volunteer at the Licking Township Fire Department. Carol enjoyed making jewelry, sewing and reading. Most important in her life was spending time with her loving family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, William Oldham; daughters, Marsha (Rick) Parlet and Gina Dudley; grandchildren, Megan Parlet, Stephen Parlet, Dareyn Dudley and Rachyl Dudley; great grandchildren, Layne Lovejoy and Ryder Lovejoy; first husband (father of the daughters), Tom Stark; sister-in-law, Pat Walters; lifetime friend, Cheryl Lusk; and nieces, cousins, aunt and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Walters.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol to Hospice of Central Ohio or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark on Monday, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
