Carole Marie Castruita

Carole Marie Castruita, 58, found peace on August 8, 2016. Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey on May 23, 1958, Carole made her home in Canal Winchester, Ohio. She found her passion in her work as a labor and delivery nurse at Mount Carmel West Hospital. She was an advocate for women's health issues and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. She loved fiercely and gave without limit. She danced in the kitchen and believed that life was too short to spend any minute of it being unhappy. Carole was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and mentor. She will live on in the hearts of her husband, Jesus Jose Castruita, MD; daughter, Chenee Marie Castruita; stepchildren, Sean (Amy) Castruita, Renee (Matt) McCoy, Jesus Jose (Lani-Elaine) Castruita, Jr., Simone G. Castruita, and Ian A. Castruita; father, Aaron B. Loggins; siblings, Desiree L. Loggins, Aaron (Kate) Loggins, Jr., and Star B. Loggins; niece, Krystal Fournier, and seven grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her little dog, Milo. Carole is reunited with her mother, Carole Marie Loggins. She loved flowers, but in lieu of flowers donations may be made to March of Dimes or the St. Thomas More Newman Center. Family will receive friends at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Sunday, August 14, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 15 at St. Thomas More Newman Center. 64 W.
