
Cecil J. “CJ” Hill, age 77, of New Albany, OH passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 21, 2009. He was born March 16, 1932 in Letart Falls, Ohio to the late Julian and Inez Hill, where he grew up farming. He was a 1950 graduate of Racine Southern Local High School, and a graduate of Columbus Business College. He enjoyed 54 years of marriage to his sweetheart Marlene (Clark) Hill who preceded him in death on May 30, 2009. CJ was an active member of New Albany United Methodist Church where he served as an usher and successfully completed Disciple Bible Study I and II, which gave him great personal satisfaction. He retired from NCR Corp with 40 years of service and then enjoyed many years driving a school bus for the Plain Local School District in New Albany, OH. He was very close to all of his co-workers and appreciated their friendships; others who made his life very special were his neighbors and his Lost Hollow campground friends. CJ will be remembered as a proud Republican, a classic car enthusiast, and a gardener. Most importantly, it was his wife, daughters and grandsons and his two dear dogs Precious and Lindsie that were his pride and joy and brought him great happiness. CJ is survived by his daughters, Teri (Randy) Duncan and Robin (Jeff) Horch; grandsons, Cameron and Casey Horch; brothers and sisters, Grace Griffin, Don (Mary) Hill, Dennie (Janet) Hill, Shirley (Roger) Johnson, Tommy (Sally) Hill, Henry (Kay) Hill and Roger (Jane Ann) Hill; sister-in-law, Maxine O’Brien; many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 3-6pm Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230; Additional visiting 10:30-11am Monday at New Albany United Methodist Church, 20 S. 3rd St., New Albany, OH 43054 where services will begin at 11am; Rev.
