Charles E. Caito, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Doctors West Hospital. Charles was born in Pamlico Co., North Carolina on February 24, 1944 to the late Charles E. and Velma (Dixon) Caito, Sr. Charles was a veteran of the US Army serving our country proudly during the Vietnam War. He retired from Buckeye Steel as a Welder. Charles was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors and camping. He could often be found watching his favorite westerns or Sci Fi TV shows. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Velma Caito and sister, Gloria Jessup. Survived by his daughter, Michelle Caito; granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Brooks; siblings, Bill, Andrea and Joann; many nieces and nephews. Private cremation has been entrusted to Hope and Heart Funeral Home by Schoedinger's.
