NELSON
Charles Nelson, beloved husband, father, pappa and friend, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the age of 84. Charlie was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from Ohio Bell, where he was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a longtime volunteer at Mt. Carmel East and a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita, in 2011; mother, Mary Margaret “Peg” Nelson and brother, Robert Nelson ; survived by son, David Minor and daughter, Myrna Minor; grandchildren, Geoffrey Minor and Nathan Minor; great- grandchildren, Hunter, Chase and Victoria Minor. He will also be missed by his friends he gathered with regularly at the Reynoldsburg Tim Horton’s. Friends may call 10-11am Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus. At 11am we will process to Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery for services and entombment; Fr. Pat Rogers, officiating.
