

Charles William Shull, 87, passed away under the Care of Heartland Hospice on January 5, 2018. Born in Mifflin Township on April 23, 1930, he was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Rebecca May (Hopper) Shull. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandson P.D. Jackson and his Beagle Gentleman Jim. Charlie was a wonderful and hardworking man who spent 32 years as a roofer for King’s Sheet Metal. He was a member of the NE Hunt Club and the SE Conservation Club. He spent time each year fishing, at times on the ice in Canada, and hunting, annually with his son Jim. He never met a deer he didn’t like. As a US Army veteran of the Korean War, and proud to have served his country, Charlie was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife Linda Lee (Hill) Shull; children Cindy (William Tresness) Shull, Debby (Ron) Easley, Terry Grabill, and James (Mary) Shull; step son Tim (Marie) Mowery; 10 grandchildren (whom affectionately referred to him as "Buckethead"), 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 11 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild; older sister Willie Kinsel; numerous other family members; and his beloved dogs Sweetie and Lil’ Bit. Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5-8PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday at 11:30AM at Mifflin Cemetery.
