Charles "Chuck" Whipkey

Charles R. "Chuck" Whipkey, age 37, passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Delaware, Ohio. He was born July 9, 1979 at Riverside Hospital to Robert Paul Whipkey and Linda (Curry) Thompson. Chuck was a graduate of Bishop Watterson High School. He was general manager and worked for Applebee's in Marysville where he was a dedicated employee for over 13 years. Chuck loved to play video games on his computer. He was a talented blackjack and poker player. Chuck was also an avid golfer. Chuck was loved by all who knew him, especially his beloved family, co-workers and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul Whipkey; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Curry and paternal grandparents, Rita and Robert P. Whipkey, Sr. Chuck is survived by the love of his life and significant other for over 14 years, Audra Galluch; mother, Linda Thompson; sister, Patricia Schmitt; grandfather, Chuck Curry; nieces and nephews, Autumn, Blake and Claudia Schmitt, Diego, Mario, Miguel, Demitrius and Dominic Moreno-Schmitt, Makenzie Galluch; father-in-law, Tony Galluch, Sr.; brother-in law, Tony (Mindy) Galluch and many close friends; along with beloved dogs, Henry, James and Benson. Family will receive friends Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2016 at Kingwood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, Ohio.
