Cheryl Ann Springer

Cheryl A Springer, 58, of Columbus, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Cheryl was born in Shelby, OH, daughter of the late James and Carol Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roger and sister Barbara Rader. Survived by daughter Carol, granddaughter Jasmine, step-daughters Kathy Springer, Rebecca Pyfrom, and Melissa Springer, step-son Roger Springer II, grand-children Anna, Tony, Cody, Tiffany, Isaiah, Tiara, Tamara, Tyler, Teddy, Brayden, Chloe, and Kyler, step-mother and best friend Debbie Mitchell, mother-in-law Mary Springer, brother Bill Mitchell, step-brothers Richard and Christopher Tenaglia, numerous in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family and many friends. Cheryl worked full-time for the insurance industry, was an accomplished beautician, and graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1975. She loved cruises, bowling, going out and dancing with friends, and spending time with her granddaughter and daughter. She was a loving grandmother to Jasmine, enjoying all the time they spent together. Family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 12 noon. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. at Amity Cemetery in Mt. Vernon following the service. Pastor Michael Sammons officiating.
