Chester Edward Davis, Jr., age 89, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He was born in Marble Cliff, Ohio on September 19, 1925 to the late Chester Edward Davis, Sr. and Opal Steen Windland. He retired from Columbus Heating and Ventilating. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Hildebrant; daughter, Vicky Whaley; brother, Ralph H. Davis; and sister, Dorothy Morrin. Chester is survived by his daughter, Kathy Ashton; and sons, Eddy Davis and Rick E. (Roberta) Egleberry; daughter in-law, Carol Hildebrant; son in-law, Vincent Whaley; grandchildren, Steven, Douglas, Tracy, and Charity; and many great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:30AM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Millie McCarty officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio.
