Christine Joan Hackman

Christine Joan (Barclay) Hackman was born March 18, 1939 to Kathryn S. (Patchell) and Robert James Barclay of DuBois, PA. She was married to Donald E. Hackman on October 6, 1962, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Chris was a Registered Nurse who worked for years at Doctors Hospital North, in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Kathryn Barclay; her brother, Robert (1965); her sister Barbara (1976), and her husband, Don (2016). Chris is survived by her nieces, Mandy Bass of Mass., and Alison Kiss of Florida. She was a longtime member of Berean Bible Church, Dublin, Ohio, and was very active in Bible studies and Sunday School for many years. Chris entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2026. While we mourn her absence, we also rejoice that Chris is finally free from the burdens of a body worn by time and disease, and she is now at home with her Savior, whole and restored.

A Memorial Service celebrating Christine’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Union Cemetery Chapel B, 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Ohio. The service will be officiated by Pastor Matthew Vanderwarker.
