Christopher J. “Kool-Aid” Johnston, age 54, of Stoutsville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday March 18, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on September 10, 1971 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late John J. Johnston and Elizabeth (Tony) Gearheart. He leaves behind his sister Jenette (Kevin) Turner and brother Douglas (Anyta) Cox. Nephews- Seth and Landen Cox and Niece Sara (Josh) Rader and Great Uncle to five nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his Fur Babies; Max and Charolette. Christopher loved "Wind Therapy" VIA his VMax and Fatboy. Chris was a huge outdoor enthusiast and loved quality time with his family and close friends. Visitation will be held on Friday March 27, 2026 from 4PM to 6PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Per Christophers wishes instead of flowers he asked that memorial donations be made to either the Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 or directly to the funeral home to help his family with funeral expenses.
