

Curtis Copley Jr., age 70, passed away, Sunday, July 25, 2010. He was born in Holden, West Virginia, to the late Curtis and Mae Copley. He and his young bride moved to Columbus where he worked as a butcher until his retirement. After his career came to a close, he found he couldn’t stop working. He worked until recently for both Home Depot and Giant Eagle.
He was still able to make time for his dear wife and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carolyn; children, Curtis, Jodi (Joe) Jenkins, and Melanie; grandchildren, Miles, Caylee, Michael, Mallory, Alexandra, Emily and Andrew; sisters, Millie Ashford, Delores Watson; brothers, Don Copley and Bill Copley. Friends may call Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 7-9pm at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. at East Columbus Christian Church, 1055 E. McNaughten Rd., Columbus, OH. Pastor Andrew Hoover officiating.
