

Cynthia V. Baker passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born in Newton, Massachusetts on October 12, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Baker; parents, Hollis and Marjorie Vaughan: brothers Phillip Vaughan and Stephen Vaughan. She is survived by her children, Stephen E.(Joanna) Baker of Eastlake OH, Bradford E. Baker of Columbus OH, Elizabeth (James) Niehaus of Hilton Head Island SC: grandchildren, Jackson (Sarah) Baker, Caitlin (Joseph) Gabriel, Sera Baker, David (Monica) Niehaus, Claire (Patrick) Milligan: great grandchildren, Lucia, Vincent, Marcella Baker, Cameron and Ryan Niehaus, and Audrey Milligan. She was a graduate of Newton High School and Brown University. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, FCC Guild, FCC Couples Circle, Hickory Hill CC, and the TreeWallBridge cocktail hours on her patio. Early on, she was an avid tennis player, but after tennis elbow, took up golf with a passion. She also enjoyed her bridge games with the neighbors and then at the Forum. She was a member of First Community Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 12, 2024 at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 1740 Zollinger Rd, Upper Arlington, OH 43221 at 1 pm with a reception following until 3:30 pm.
