Cynthia Helene Canter

Cynthia Helene Canter, age 78 of Grove City, Ohio passed away Friday February 3, 2017 at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing. Cindy was born in Piqua, OH to the late Theodore and Beatrice (Glaser) Jones. She graduated from Piqua Catholic High School, Class of 1956. She worked for several years at Evans Floral in Grove City and many years at the Westland branch of the Southwest Public Library where she enjoyed her work as a clerk and loved the people with whom she worked. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Cindy loved to garden, working on her flower beds and each year selecting annuals to plant to accent the beds. She also enjoyed baking many kinds of cookies and cakes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Patricia Lange. Cindy is survived by her daughter Julie (Everett) Webb; sisters Mary Suzanne “Suzie” Jones and Christeen (Sha) Kelkar; grandchildren Chloe K., Eli “Max”, Brandon, Crystal, Sarah, Elizabeth, Caroline, Anna, and Lisa; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Prayer Service 6:45 PM Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3722 Broadway, Grove City. Rev. Fr. Daniel J. Millisor, Celebrant.
