Cynthia Taylor

Cynthia "Cynde" Anne (Kulhawik) Taylor, 65, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital. She was born August 30, 1951 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Cynde was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She graduated from Dillonvale High School and Bliss College. Throughout her life, she was employed by B and A Paint Company, Dean and Barry Paint Company, Yenkin-Majestic Paint Company and Pittsburgh Paints, from where she retired. She enjoyed reading books, going to garage sales with her sister Martie, cheering on the Buckeyes and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Madison. She was preceded in death by her father William Kulhawik, sister B. Martie (Kulhawik) (Ron) Foote, aunt Shirley Childers and a son Adam Taylor. She is survived by mother Evelyn (Karkoska) Kulhawik, husband Tim Taylor, brother Craig (Raeann) Childers, daughter Denise (Jason) Mitchell, granddaughter Madison Mitchell, many nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws and dear friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11 from 4-7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 6699 N. HIGH STREET, WORTHINGTON, OH 43085. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229. Interment to immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Cynde's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Franklin County or The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital.
