Daniel J. Trautman

Daniel James “Danny” Trautman, age 14, passed away, Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Danny is the beloved son of Paul Trautman (Celeste) and Betty Davis Trautman. He is also survived by his grandparents, Warner L. Trautman, Jeanine Trautman, John J. Davis, and Carol (Patrick) Doyle; sister, Rachel; step-sister, Natalie Alexander; step-brother, Dominic Alexander; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Danny was a student at Hilliard Weaver Middle School and was proud of his grades as well as his fitness and athletic abilities. He excelled in football, lacrosse, and wrestling, and was looked up to and loved by many. Danny also found enjoyment in the Dads, Kids, and Dogs Camping and Fishing Outings. He loved the outdoors as well as his Under Armour and tennis shoes. He will be remembered with affection as an exceptional young man and friend and leader. A celebration of his life will be held with a visitation 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd. and on Monday, June 7, one hour prior to 3 p.m. memorial service at First Community Church, North Campus, 3777 Dublin Rd. Rev. James Long officiating. A private burial will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Danny’s memory to the Danny Trautman Athletics Fund c/o Key Bank.
