

David F. Buchanan, age 31, passed away November 19, 2015, after a courageous fight with Cystic Fibrosis and a successful lung transplant performed at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He was born December 2, 1983, to Floyd and Donna (Forquer) Buchanan. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Floyd Buchanan, James and Florine Forquer. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his brother and very best friend, Bradley Buchanan, grandmother, Betty Buchanan, aunts, Ann Rogers, Jean Forquer, Joell Buchanan, and Janice Buchanan, in addition to numerous cousins. He will be sadly missed by special friends Nick Carmean, Justin Swartz, Erin Taylor Pedicini, and his "other mother" Pam Gardner, as well as many other friends. David was a proud member of the Grove City High School Marching Band drum line. He attended The Ohio State University and was an avid fan. He enjoyed playing golf and watching football with his dad and brother, and especially enjoyed the annual Myrtle Beach golf trip. The family requests contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to thank the CF Clinic, Lung Transplant Team and the nurses and doctors of the CT ICU at Nationwide Children's Hospital for their wonderful care and love. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Grove City, Ohio.
