David H. Elliott Jr., 73, of Galloway passed away on July 17, 2018. Born in Columbus to David H. Elliott Sr. and Wilma Venrick. David had a love for golf, Nascar racing and Sprint car racing and was a loyal and devoted fan to Cole Duncan #22. David is preceded in death by his parents and a "brother from another mother" Ralph Elliott Jr. Lovingly survived by his wife of 29 years, Dixie; his children, David H.(Susan) Elliott III, Nicole Matheny, step children, Mick Lewis, Shelley (Gary) Swallows and Rick Lewis; grandchildren, Courtney, Cameron, Riley, Cobi, Natalee, Maggie(Marge), Julia(Jake), Lenin and Lola; great-grandchildren Brody and Oakleigh. Family will receive friends on Thursday July 19, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at HEART AND HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Oh 43204. A funeral service will be held to honor David's life on Friday July 20th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with internment to follow at Alton Cemetery.
