

David Russell Patch, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio, on November 22, 1952, and grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. At a young age, David developed a passion for cooking, and he was most recently working as a chef at the Serenity Café. He loved the outdoors, and he enjoyed hunting. His most loved hobby was fishing, and it brought him great joy to teach others how to fish. David was incredibly generous, not just financially, but with his time and talents as well. He attended Logos Bible Church, where he started a substance abuse ministry, and he touched many lives through his work at the Serenity Café. His family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the Serenity Street Foundation. David is survived by his mother, Adelaide; siblings, Doug (Christine) and Denise; his adoring nieces and nephews, Heather, Jason (Kristina), Alexandra, and John Russell; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell David Patch. A memorial service in honor of David will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the Logos Bible Church, 623 Hill Road North, Pickerington.
