Deborah Ann Gaston

In memory of Debbie Gaston, who passed away Wednesday morning April 7, 2021 from natural causes. Debbie is now at peace, after long suffering from various health complications. Debbie is survived in, by, and through her ever-loving mother, 4 siblings, 3 children, and 3 grandchildren. Debbie is preceded in death by her father. Debbie was born Deborah Ann Fike in Mansfield Ohio, unto Patricia and Larry Fike, December 28, 1959. At an early age, they moved to Waukegan Illinois, where Debbie was raised with her siblings Kenny, Rodney, Cherie, and Kim. In 1978, Debbie graduated high school and married Paul Gaston. In 1981, Debbie graduated from Southern Illinois University Dental Hygiene Program, which launched her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Debbie and Paul moved to Grove City Ohio where they raised their 3 children Matt, Kristen, and Alyssa. In later years, their family expanded with 3 grandchildren Melanie, Annabelle, and Autumn. Debbie loved her family deeply. She also cherished her various Golden Retrievers and other pets. Debbie had a warm heart for animals in need of a home. Debbie is loved and will be missed. Our hearts ache for the loss of Debbie and for the suffering she had in recent years. Now Debbie can rest and be at peace in the arms of the Lord.

Debbie, we miss you and love you. Your loving family. Family will receive friends on Friday April 16, 2021 from 2:00PM-4:00PM with funeral service at 4:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204. Private family graveside services will be held Saturday June 26, 2021 at Warren Cemetery in Gurnee Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made under Debbie's name to Best Friends Animal Society.
