Delbert Eugene Davis

Delbert "Nick" Davis, 91, of Grove City, passed away on December 7, 2015. Son of the late Clarence and Goldie Davis. Also preceded in death by his son, Scott R. Davis. There is comfort in knowing he will be reunited with his son Scott. Nick was a retiree of Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Member of Grove City United Methodist Church. A member of Westgate Masonic Lodge #623, Aladdin Shrine, and Scottish Rite. Life member of R.S.E.S., Columbus Moose Lodge #11, and the Golden Moose Club. Member of American Legion Post #532. Survived by Cathy, his devoted and loving wife of 64 years; daughter and Son In-Law, Karen and Bill Johnson; grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsey Johnson; sisters, Imogene (Bill) Morbitzer and Norma (Morgan) Copley; and his little furry buddy, Buffy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM with a Masonic service at 7:30PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10:00AM at the Grove City United Methodist Church, 2684 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio. Pastor Tom Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Contributions in Nick's memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
