Dolores "Dodie" W. Johnson, 85, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born February 9, 1931 in Ironton, OH, daughter of Mary Margaret Sinnott and Carl E Wolford. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert J., daughter Karen L., and nephew Michael A. Lathrop. She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Pamela), granddaughter Jennifer L. (Marvin), grandsons Gregory and Christian, and sister-in-law Ann L. Lathrop. Dodie took great pride working for the Columbus Public Schools between Northeast Career Center and Fort Hayes Career Center for 28 years and thoroughly enjoyed the company of her incredible coworkers. Graveside service to be held Friday April 29, 2016 at 11:30 am at Kingwood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 43035. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
