Donald Chandler

Donald Eugene Chandler, age 84, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born October 4, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ogle G. and Georgia Chandler. Don was a 1948 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. He served 4 years in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of The New England Masonic Lodge #4 F and A.M. for over 60 years. Don retired from Coated Fabric after 28 years. He also worked for Clark Grave Vault and Vac-U-Form. Preceded in death by his son, Eric Scott Chandler and sisters, Betty Ann Chandler and Ruth Wilkinson. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Ada Kathryn Chandler; children, Eddie Eugene (Linda) Chandler, Sr., Donna Renee' Chandler and Mark Donald (Dawn) Chandler; 6 grandchildren, beloved Kimberly, Eddie, Christopher, Gordon, Erica and Jacob; 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Householder; special friend, Pat Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 11:30am, Thursday, October 1, 2015. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
