Donald G. Sapp

Donald G. Sapp, age 73, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. Don was born September 17, 1941 to the late George and Rita (Power) Sapp in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from St. Charles Preparatory School and The Ohio State University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. Don was an Air Force veteran where he served for over 6 years. He retired from the State of Ohio, Industrial Commission, where he was the department supervisor. He was interested in sports and loved to golf. Don is survived by sisters, Mary Lou (Dan) McCabe and Ellen (Kenneth) Schneider; niece and nephews, Molly (Steve) Boysel, Joe (Vicki) McCabe, Matt (A.J.) McCabe, Josh McCabe, Carey (Sheila) Schneider, Chad (Andrea) Schneider and Eric (Angel) Schneider; several grand-nieces and nephews. Donnie was blessed with a loyal "family of friends" with whom he shared years of stories and laughs. Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30pm. Private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
