Donald Ray York

Donald Ray York, 89, of Grove City, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018. Donald was born March 18, 1929 to Otha D. and Lillie E. York in Dayton, Ohio. He was an alumnus of The Ohio State University School of Engineering and worked as a Project Manager for Jeffrey-Dresser Manufacturing Company consulting worldwide concerning underground ventilation and locomotives. He was an active church member serving in a number of positions such as Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Leader, and Adult Leader at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. He was the beloved husband of Betty York for 69 years and is survived by her; son, Dr. Donald York, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Carla York; 5 grandchildren, Ashleigh (John) Molnar, Brittney (Rocky) Dawson, Courtney York, Delainey York, Dr. Alexandra (Mario) York; 6 great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kirsten, and Kendra Molnar, Levi York, and Luka and Niko Lacaze. A special thanks to the staff of Mount Carmel West Hospital and our neighbors, the Bohanans. A private service led by Rev.
