Donna Jean McConnell

Donna J. McConnell, age 93 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. Donna was born in Athens and grew up in Stewart and then Columbus, daughter of the late Orlo and Marie Jarvis. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pete McConnell and brothers, Bill and Larry Jarvis. Donna graduated from South High School and was a member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church and the Clintonville Women's Club. She was a devoted wife and mother with a generous and caring spirit who enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, sewing and loved to take walks. Because she had such a tremendous love for her family and friends, Donna will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her children, Michael McConnell, Jan (Tim) Kellogg, and Susan (Jill Handley) McConnell; grandchildren, Kate, Andrew, and David Kellogg; and other extended family members and dear friends. A memorial service celebrating Donna's life will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 4131 N. High St., where family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until time of service Thursday. Rev. William Gause officiating. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
