Dorene A. Prem

Dorene Ann Prem, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 after a long battle with breast cancer. She fought with great dignity and strength, always relying on her deeply rooted faith. Her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and friends always came first. They are what gave her hope to keep fighting. She is and always will be our "Wonder Woman". She was born in Tours, Texas to the late William and Olga Vrba. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Alice Mayfield and Danny Vrba. Dorene is survived by her husband, Ernest Prem; daughters; Debra (Brad) Staats, Rebecca (James) Dial; Kelly (Ryan) Balaz; son, Jeffrey Prem; and grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Jason, Elizabeth, Madeline, Alexandra, Tyler, Grace, Kayla, Brenna, and Jacob. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 at 9:30 am. Father Jim Colopy celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron, OH.
