

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lillian Dailey; sister, Genevieve Marco; brother, Wilbur; loving husband, of 66 years, Joseph; their infant son, Gary; and son-in-law, Paul Deibel. She is survived by her sister, Edna Lindsey; daughters, Karen Resch, Linda (Terry) Magaldi and Carol Deibel; beloved grandchildren, Michelle (Nicholas) Persichetti, Megan, Erin, and Caitlin Magaldi, and Nathan and Ryan Deibel; and great-granddaughter, Claire Persichetti; 7 nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Lauretta Dailey.
A lifelong learner, Doris graduated from Hudson High School and the Cleveland Museum School of Art and Darvis School of Design. She was a World War II draftsman. Doris was a prolific artist and writer with a long career in commercial art and journalism. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Brendan The Navigator Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH. Private interment will be held in Stow, Ohio.
