Dear- Karen,Linda,Carol and Family

The moment I walked into Doris's home I felt warmth and a cozy, peaceful home. I just could not get over how beautiful the hand painted mural on the living room wall was, along with the many other paintings though out the home. I was just amazed at her talent. I was hoping to get the pleasure of meeting your mother Doris.
In passing we have already met, with a wave and a smile back in the spring of 2009. This was my first year driving school bus for Stow. One morning I was on Klein Ave. when I noticed an elderly women sweeping and picking things up by the sidewalk and driveway. She looked so much like my mother. As I got closer I tooted the horn and we both waved and smiled at each other, which left me overcome with emotions and tears as I passed by. She reminded me so much of my mother, Alice, who passed away March of 2008. I think about that day often and even told my sister about it.
So now it's early spring 2012 and my bus route takes me back down Klein Ave. on a regular basis. For about a month I kept looking and admiring how cute this house is with a For Sale Sign in the yard and that I should call about it.
The end of March I called Krista Combs inquiring about 4197 Klein Ave. When she told me it was built in 1958..I thought how cool, that was the year I was born. Then the second cool thing was there has only been one owner and she is 93. I wasn't sure this was the women that I met with a wave and a smile back in 2009 until I saw her picture, then I was sure. I believe there are no coincidences. Doris was born in April,1919 and Alice was born April,1919 on the 26th the day of Doris's passing.
So I guess you're wondering who I am. My name is Jan Carlton, the person that is so excited to own and care for your parents home.

To the family of Doris Falcon,

I am very sorry for your loss as a family. I thought I would share an encouraging thought form the bible that may comfort you during this time. In 2 Cor 1:3,4 states, "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God." During these times it is nice to know that we can be comforted by God. If we lean upon him he will comfort us, and then we to can comfort others during this time.

Patrick Shannon purchased the The Acquaintance for the family of Doris Dailey Falcon.

I'm so glad that your mom was there, that day, that time, that hour, that minute at the playground with the kids. She is so responsible for our kids and family friendship and intro to Michelle. Without her, our lives would not have been as they are today :)  I will miss her.
