Dorothy Bott

Dorothy Lee Bott (Dorman), a resident of Friendship Village of Dublin, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 18, 1919 in Hawk Point, Missouri to the late Fred and Huldia Dorman. Dorothy graduated from Wellsville, Missouri High School, class of 1937, and then attended Cosmetology School, in St. Louis. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, enjoyed traveling, sewing and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bott, in 1988 and her sister, Elsie Jackson, in 2009. She is survived by her children, Frances Bott Magno and George (Sharon) Bott of Hilliard, OH and Laura Lee (Harry) Hanchar of Bellefonte, PA; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Micheal, Zach and Christen Bott, Susan, Todd and Emma Ruck, Cindy, Rachel and Will Patton, (all of Hilliard, OH); Jacob, Desiree, Gaius and Valentina Hanchar (of Pittsburgh, PA); Sarah and Patrick Hanchar-O’Neil of Orlando, FL; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Dorothy Mae and Gary Gooch, Carolyn Gooch, Kari and Jessica Williams, Charles and Vonnie Jackson, Kathy, Josh, Jared and Lyndzee Jackson, Joe, Erin, Kyle, Zachary, Tyler, Emma and Charley Joe Jackson, Huldia, Bill and Aaron Cox; also, many friends and staff members at Friendship Village that treated Dorothy like family.
