Dorothy H. Mooney

Dorothy H. Mooney, age 98, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at Mayfair Village Retirement and Nursing Center. Dorothy was born May 14, 1912 in Howell, MI to the late Chas. and Lena Bergin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Joseph Mooney and beloved granddaughter, Julie Ellis-Driver. Dorothy worked as a nurse and was a very determined and independent woman. She exercised her mind and body daily. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Ellis and will be forever remembered as Mamaw by grandchildren, Thomas (Kelly) Driver, Jason (Stacey) Ellis, Joseph Ellis (Laura Hammond) and great-grandchildren, Payton and Connor Ellis and Sydney Driver; nieces, Mary Miller and Dolores Barnes.
