Dorothy Beatrice Wolford

Dorothy Beatrice Wolford passed away peacefully February 15, 2016 at the age of 93. She was born June 14, 1922 in Majestic, KY to the late Anthony and Effie Sanson; also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carl Wolford; son Cletius Wolford; daughter Carolene Estes; brothers Hillard and Jasper; sisters Othella and Jannie. She is survived by her son, Carl E. Wolford; grandchildren, Eric Wolford (Lisa), Edward Ray Wolford, Diane Brown (Marty), Monty Wolford (Jennette) and Scott Wolford; great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Cameron, Alexis (Alexis’ mother Sherri), Lily, J.D., Jessica, Brittany, Brett, Luke, Layla, Mariah, Drew, Macie, Ryan and Cloey; great-great-grandchildren, John and Carter; brothers, Kenneth, Wayne and Frank; sister, Emogine; extended family and friends. Dorothy retired from Federal Glass after 26 years of loyal service. She was an Avon Lady for many years and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and other handiwork. Family will welcome friends 6-8pm Thursday, February 18, and 12-1pm Friday, February 19, at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E.
