

Douglas F. Hufford, 83, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Canal Winchester Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. He was born on November 22, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Littek) Hufford. Douglas was a 1955 graduate of Perrysburg High School. After graduation, Douglas enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served our country during the Vietnam Era from 1957 until his retirement in 1977. He was an avid fisherman, gardener, and painted hundreds of paintings for his family to cherish. Douglas was a devoted member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Pickerington. In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Hufford and brother, Tom Hufford. He is survived by his children, Karen (Dan) Lafoon, Eugene (Andrea) Hufford, Lawrence Hufford, Tracy (Andrew) Taylor, Doug (Kelly) Hufford, and Sarah Jewell; grandchildren, Caelan and Gabrielle Jewell and Luke Hufford; brothers, David, James, and Edward Hufford; numerous nieces and nephews. A private service will be observed. Family and friends may virtually participate in Douglas' service 11 am Saturday, December 19, 2020 at facebook.com/standrewspickerington.
