Drew Michael Miller

Drew Michael Miller, 71, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 15, 2019 at Kobacker House Hospice Care. He was born December 1, 1947 in Stamford, Connecticut to Edward and Mary Miller. Drew served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from All Crane where he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. Time in the Bahamas was a happy memory for him. He loved cooking, virtual flying, target shooting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Alice Miller; daughters, Kelly Staten (Greg Hicks) and Shannon Miller (Conleth Curley); beloved grandchildren, Brandy, Jessie, Dominic, Jacob, Peyton, Jessica and Taylor; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 S. Waggoner Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068; Fr. David J. Young, celebrant. Private inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALSA.org to further ALS research.
