

Edria Rowland Miller, age 94, passed away June 24, 2014 at Friendship Village of Columbus. She was born on December 2, 1919 in Beattyville, KY to the late John and Nellie (Schoemaker) Rowland. Edria was a retired teacher from Columbus Public Schools. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir for over 40 years. Edria loved to travel the world and was an avid collector of ladybugs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; step-daughter, Marilyn Greenman; brothers, Hearl, Ellis, and Robert Rowland. Edria is survived by her loving sister, Ella Gall; grandsons, Russell, Weston, Kenton, and Nathaniel Greenman; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews, David Rowland of Spartanburg, SC, John Rowland of Mason, OH, and Wayne Rowland of Seattle, WA and many other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 6-8 pm Friday, June 27, 2014 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 E Main St, Bexley, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Betzer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Edria to Christ Lutheran Church.
