Edward A. Farber

Edward A. Farber, age 79, of Sunbury passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Edward was born on July 18, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Chester E. and Glenola V. Farber. He was a graduate of North High School class of 1954. Edward went on to graduate from The Ohio State University in Industrial Engineering in 1959; while at OSU he was active in Sigma Chi Fraternity. Edward was an active member in the Mechanical Contractors Association for many years and served two terms as President. He was also recognized as Man of the Year for the Mechanical Contractors Association. Edward was also member and president of the YBMC. In 1969 he founded the Farber Corporation. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra Farber; children Bob Farber (Penny Brown), Jenny Farber (Jim Sharvin), Julie Farber (George Lawrence), Tim (Lisa) Farber; along with 10 grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 3-6pm Sunday, May 22, at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd. where the funeral service will be 10am Monday, May 23.
