He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Richard was an avid golfer and Pittsburgh Pirates and Buckeye fan.
Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann; and parents, Edwin Sr. (Phoebe) and Amy Martin. Richard will be missed by his children, Kathy Thomas, John Martin, Bill (Patt) Martin, and Mary Rausch; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Louise) Martin.
