Elizabeth G. Ryan, age 88 of Newark passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. Elizabeth was born on September 4, 1923 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Cecil and Hazel Azbell. Her family was the center of her life; she loved being a wife and mother to her 3 children. Her family will miss her love and kindness. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Walter; sons, Dan (Dianne) Ryan of Louisville, KY, Michael (Sarita) Ryan of Newark, and daughter Peggy Ann Whitaker of Newark; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
