A funeral service for Elsie Florence White, age 89, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, at Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, where friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery.
Elsie was born October 20, 1924 in Newark, Ohio to the late Russell Eugene and Eunice M. (Good) Fulton. She passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by five children, Judy (Ron), Cookie, Ernie (Tammy), Jimmy and Naomi (Joe Mentzer); 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Gene (Muff); daughter, Sherry; daughter-in-law, Lou Ann; son-in-law, Mike; brothers, Jim and Eugene; sisters, Marie, Gertrude and Eunice.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
