

Elva Wright Boggs, 92, of Grove City, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. She was born June 1, 1929 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to the late Kirk and Gertrude Wright. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the rock of her family. She was a star on earth and now a shining star in heaven. Elva was sweet, kind, and always encouraging. She loved to help others and had an infectious positive attitude. She was very strong willed. She enjoyed camping and traveling, especially the annual family trips to Myrtle Beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles Boggs; 2 brothers who died in WWII, Carold Wright U.S. Army and Paul Wright U.S. Navy; sisters, Tillie Nixon, Martha Waitt, and Bebe West. She is survived by daughters, Cynthia A. Boggs and Marsha W. James; granddaughter, Stephanie Nichole (Phil) Williams; great-grand-daughter, Shayla Marie Williams; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Schoedinger Grove City, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Avery Little officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
